Stephen Lewis (Benedict Cumberbatch), a successful writer of children's books, is confronted with the unthinkable: he loses his only child, four-year-old Kate, in a supermarket. Kate's absence sets Stephen and his wife, Julie (Kelly Macdonald), on diverging paths as both struggle with an all-consuming grief. With the passage of time, a balance of sorts returns, until hope surfaces and triumphs unexpectedly.
Premiered on BBC1 in September 2017 to considerable critical acclaim, and was the biggest audience share of its slot - with an average of 4.5 million viewers.
Produced in 2017 as a 50/50 joint venture between Twelve Town (formerly Pinewood Television) and Cumberbatch's SunnyMarch. Cumberbatch was also credited as an executive producer.

Season 1 was a major hit for SVT, with 1.6 million consoli- dated viewers for its premiere. It was sold to 50 territories and was particularly successful in France (Arte) and in the UK (ITV Encore), where it became the highest rating drama of the year.
Robert Kastell returns to Sweden after having been presumed dead for thirty years. Forced out of exile by a personal tragedy, he is now on a last journey of revenge, his target now being the successful arms trade broker Anders Speths. Meanwhile, the weapons manufacturing giant Sandersvik is negotiating a big trade with Speths - and a conspiracy theorist who uncovers it all mysteriously goes missing.
The first episode premiered at MIPTV in April 2018 to very positive reaction from international buyers. Full release on Viaplay in September 2018.
